Utilities & Aggregates

Our facilities in the East Midlands are ideally situated for all your utility waste needs. Our recycling service can assist companies to reduce costs, reduce carbon emissions, meet the requirements of regulators and other stakeholders, enhance public reputation and respond to drivers from the UK government.

We can reduce your costs by making savings in staff time and fuel through using our facilities to process your inert waste and backload recycled aggregates, whilst avoiding the rising costs of the aggregate levy. We recognise that reducing carbon emissions is a high priority to utility companies as demonstrated by the number of signatories to the Prince’s May Day Network and by taking advantage of our facilities for tipping and collection of recycled aggregates we are able to demonstrate that you can make significant carbon savings. We have pioneered the use of non-renewable mineral resources in civil engineering, utility and construction contracts. Our materials have been used in a broad range of projects include upgrades to district heating schemes, Building Schools for the Future projects and Sewage Treatment Works.

We carry out a range of monthly external and internal sample testing of all our materials to ensure we continue to supply high quality recycled products, in accordance with the WRAP Quality Protocol. We produce a range of Quality Assured aggregates, mixtures and soils including:

•Crushed Brick/Concrete
•25mm Down Brick/Concrete
•50mm Down Brick/Concrete
•50mm-150mm Clean Brick/Concrete
•DOE Type 1
•Clean Hardcore
•Blended Soil (Topsoil)
•Screened Soil (Reclaimed)
