Ever changing government waste legislation means that is now essential for organisations to implement effective waste management strategies. With the announcement that landfill tax will increase by £8 per tonne each year up to 2013, which will see mixed waste taxed at £72 per tonne, the recycling route is now the only commercially and environmentally sustainable way of managing your waste.

Small Businesses

For lower volume waste producers Wastecycle provide either bag or wheeled bin collections on an agreed schedule. To increase recycling we have vehicles on segregated rounds allowing our customers to separate card and paper, glass, food from mixed recyclables (card/paper, plastics, aluminium cans, metal cans and compact discs) which are all collected together in one container.

Medium to Large Businesses

For higher volume producers who have heavy or bulky waste we offer a full range of containers from front end loaders and Roll-on Roll-off containers to portable or static compaction units and balers. Compaction units and balers reduce the waste volume therefore improving the payload and reducing the number of site movements. We offer discounted rates for segregated collections including card, paper, plastic, mixed recyclables and timber.

Pay by weight

All of our mobile compaction vehicles are fitted with on board weighing systems enabling us to capture data at the point of collection for reporting and the system is weights and measured approved for paying by weight.

Raising awareness

A vital ingredient for any successful waste scheme is the training of employees to raise awareness of the benefits of segregating your waste at source. To ensure the transition to our recycling solutions is effective we have a variety of promotional tools that can be combined with training sessions held by our experienced advisors.

We recognise the importance of monitoring the success of these schemes and have an online reporting area for all of our customers that provides figures for benchmarking and the setting of performance targets. This helps us work with the customer to ensure you are taking advantage of the benefits of our services.
