The Carbon Trust Standard...

 

The Carbon Trust Standard was developed by the Carbon Trust in 2007/08 to encourage good practice in carbon measurement, management and reduction by businesses and public sector organisations. It is designed to provide a robust, objective and consistent methodology for assessing corporate carbon performance.

Helping our customers save energy..

Wastecycle achieved the Carbon Trust Standard  in 2011 after saving 50,000 tonnes of CO²e since 2008 through a number of initiatives which included better recycling of re-usable materials and our RDF scheme.  Information of both of these can be found on our recycling pages.
