Paper and Cardboard Recycling

Most companies and individuals now make a conscious effort to recycle as much paper and cardboard as possible. Wastecycle have developed services to provide paper and cardboard collection and recycling systems to suit all your needs. Our Office Paper Recycling Scheme is cost effective and simple and our Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) is a registered member of the Recycling Registration Scheme, accredited by the Environmental Services Association. The Scheme’s Code of Practice requires that recyclable material must only be sent to a recovery facility which operates to EU equivalent standards.

Membership of the scheme will give confidence to stakeholders and customers that materials sent abroad for use in manufacturing such as paper mills and textile mills meet stringent specifications and are fully compliant. Wastecycle’s systems are set up to collect and recycle most types of paper and cardboard.

Much of the paper and cardboard we collect is recycled through tissue mills as household and work environment products. Recycled paper is also used in the manufacture of wallpaper, writing paper and books.
