Household Waste Recycling Centre - Lenton
Wastecycle took over the management and operation of Nottingham City Council's Household Waste Recycling Centre at Lenton in December 2006.
In the first six months of operation, the recycling rate saw a significant increase from 58% to 88%, which is 'top of the premiership' performance in recycling on civic amenity sites across the UK.
This exceptional performance has been achieved through the high level of commitment by the site staff taking the philosophy of our Colwick facility and applying it to the household waste recycling sector, working closely in partnership with Nottingham City Council.
The site is open to householders to dispose of their own household waste and garden refuse.
