Wastecycle

Public Sector Services

NTU WastecycleWastecycle consistently recycle over 86% of the waste materials we receive at our recycling facilities - 300,000 tonnes of waste last year, reducing the waste burden in Nottinghamshire with clear environmental and social benefits.  We are able to provide a solution where waste is treated and/or disposed of within a reasonable distance of the point of generation avoiding excessive transportation. In addition to this we utilise local markets for recycled products and back load haulage to minimise transport costs and movements. Through continual developments and investment in processing technologies at our Material Recycling Facility (MRF) we will continue to increase our recycling rates of residual waste material.

Wastecycle operate Quality and Environmental Management Systems which are externally audited twice annually by SGS United Kingdom and are certified to the international standards ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 14001: 2004. The scope of our systems cover the collection and recycling of waste including product resale.

In addition, we are members of the Environmental Services Association’s Registered Recycling Scheme
