What happens to your co-mingled waste materials?

Waste is sorted through our state of the art sorting plant, separated into the different materials e.g. paper, card, plastics etc and baled into mill size bales ready for export to UK, European and Eastern markets for re-processing to make other goods.

Over 80% of Wastecycle's baled products go to UK or European markets and as a member of the Environmental Services Association's Recycling Registration Scheme, our customers can be assured that we meet the required quality and legal standards, ensuring continued good industry practice, including health and safety regulations, tracking materials to reprocessing destinations.  This has a particularly positive impact on the export front.  Under the Scheme, recyclable material must be sent to a recovery facility which operates to EU equivalent standards prior to going abroad, so customers can be confident that this material is being recycled.
