The award, one of eight made in a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel, Birmingham, was presented by Clare Howe, Director of environmental consultancy Code Green to Wastecycles, Head of Sales, Steve Cormack
“This award amply reflects our committed approach to the environmental issues facing the construction industry. Not the least of these is the increasing cost of sending waste to landfill, something we are determined to see reduced and eventually eliminated,” he says.
Other awards included those for innovation, health and safety, and training.
Also at the event, Paul Needham, Managing Director of Wastecycle, presented Baggaley Construct with an Award as the proud sponsor of the "Committed to Sustainability 2010" category.
